CAREGIVING NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Caregivers in accordance with industry standards. It covers basic, common and core competencies in NC II. Provide care and support to infants/toddlers, provide care and support to children, Foster social, intellectual, creative and emotional development for children, Foster physical development for children, Provide care and support to elderly, Provide care and support to people with special needs, Maintain a healthy and safe environment, Respond to emergency, Clean living room, dining room, bedroom, toilet and bathroom, Wash and iron clothes, linens and fabrics, Prepare hot and cold meals.
HEALTHCARE SERVICES NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of INSTITUTIONAL HEALTH CARE (HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT) NC II in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies in preparing and maintaining beds, collecting and maintaining linen stocks at end-user locations, assisting with patient mobility, transport and bio-psychosocial support care of patients and handling waste in a health care environment.
It also includes competencies in workplace, communication, teamwork, complying with organization’s occupational safety and health policies, implementing and monitoring infection control policies and procedures, responding effectively to difficult/challenging behavior, applying basic first aid and maintaining high standards of patient services.
MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION NC II
The Medical Transcription (MT) Program is a course that is designed to develop knowledge, skills and abilities and desirable work ethics of a medical transcriptionist in accordance with the industry standards. It covers standards of basic competency, common competency, and core competency such as the use of medical terminology to carry out the production from an audio file to a transcribed electronic medical report.
COOKERY NC II
The COOKERY NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to clean kitchen areas, cook/prepare hot, cold meals and desserts for guests in various food and beverage service facilities.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude in FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies on cleaning bar areas, operating a bar, preparing and mixing of cocktails, providing link between kitchen and service areas, providing room service, providing food and beverage service, developing and updating of food and beverage knowledge and providing wine services. It covers the basics, common and core competencies.
HOUSEKEEPING NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of housekeeping staff in housekeeping services, preparing guest’s rooms, providing valet/butler service, laundering linen and guest’s clothes, cleaning premises and equipment in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, core and common competencies in HOUSEKEEPING NC II.
TOUR GUIDING NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of TOUR GUIDING SERVICES NC II such as coordinating tour program/itinerary; guiding and accompanying tourist in a locality in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common and core competencies.
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICING NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of automotive servicing in accordance with industry standards. It covers specialized competencies such as; perform gas and diesel tune up, service automotive battery, service ignition system, test and rep not yet dne!
COMPUTER HARDWARE SERVICING NC II
This course is designed to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of a Computer Service Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as install, maintain, configure, and diagnose computer systems and networks.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE NC II
This course is designed to equip individuals with operational skills in Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC level II particularly in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, lightning and related equipment/systems in residential houses/buildings where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts.
This course covers knowledge, skills and attitude in electrical installation. It deals with the preparation of electrical power & hydraulic tools, Perform roughing-in activities for communication and distribution, Install wiring devices for floor and ground fault current interrupting outlets, Install electrical protection system for lightning and grounding, Install electrical lightning systems on auxiliary outlets and lightning fixtures.
PAC SERVICING (DomRAC) NC II
This course is designed to equip individuals with operational skills in RAC Servicing which installs, services and maintains, troubleshoots and repairs Domestic Refrigiration and Air-Conditioning (DOM/RAC) units. It covers the basic, common and core competencies.
SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of SMAW Welder in accordance with industry standards. It covers competencies such as Setting-up Welding Equipment, Preparing Weld Materials, Fitting up Weld Materials, Welding Carbon Steel Plates Using SMAW, Welding Carbon Steel Plates and Pipes Using SMAW and Repairing Welds.
This qualification conforms with AWSD 1.1 Structural welding Code; ASME IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code; API 1104 Code for Gas and Oil Pipeline Facilities; and ISO 9606-1 Qualification of Welders for steel.
